He is Risen, and we have good news!

Claire had an appointment on Tuesday, so we traveled down to KY on Monday (not stopping). Tuesday Claire had an MRI in the morning and then a follow up with our Neurosurgeon after that. GOOD NEWS! He said that though her head has grown (and so has the rest of her body!! she weighs 17lbs 10 oz and 26.5 inches) everything is proportionate. The Ventricles in her brain (chambers of the brain that have fluid flowing through them) have not gotten any smaller, but since her brain has gotten bigger the ratio is better. The doctor seemed very pleased with this! Dr. Maugans said that instead of seeing us every 3 weeks, like we had been doing, we could wait 6 weeks...and we probably wouldn't have to do any imaging for a while. YAY!! The dr didn't realize we were traveling back and forth these past 3 times...and jokingly said that next time he would come visit us!! ha! While this is good news, the dr reminded us that we are not yet out of the woods, but he is hopeful!

The next day we had an appointment with the Opthamalogist. We were referred to him to make sure that there was no pressure on Claire's optic nerve. This would be another complication of hydrocephalus. More good news! Now pressure on the Optic nerves! YAY!   God is so Faithful and Good!

This is my attempt to take a cute picture of my girlis in their Easter outfits.  Ah well, i guess this is more realistic!
